I removed the satellites. And I did the same for the rest of the files in the enigma2 folder. I then rebooted the box - but it came back on to the original vix setup wizard. I didn't want to continue in case it reset all my settings.
You will now be at the dreamboxedit main screen. Click the Back button to return to the main screen and click the folder icon to open a listing of files in your working directory. From this list select the channel list you downloaded earlier and click OK. You should now return to the main screen with your chosen channel list loaded Edit the channel list if required.
The most likely edit you will want to do is to sort the Services screen by satellite Just by clicking the heading Satellite and then deleting all services for those satellites that you are not able to recieve.
Deleting the channel from the services list will also remove it from the bouquets. Then you can edit them and send back. When you get this working, then try with your existing files. You can make a backup and also restore the settings. Just do it! I didn't expect this to be this complicated. But I have managed to restore all bouquets. All with ftp and vi! FileZilla kept closing down my connection whenever I attempts to send or get a file. So I had to divert to ftp on the command line.
I think they are all on Hotbird 13E and I tried to do a full scan but found no services to fill the gaps with. I saw your name on the About dialog. No it's not. That's right Mr. I just recommended your application to one of the users here. I know I tried and almost failed at copying and restoring my bouquets manually, and I failed at restoring the satellite and tuner configuration. So I would not do it again without trying Dreambox Edit first.
